India embraces the Swine Flu
After the first casualty of the Swine flu in August, headlines swept the nation covering every case and scaring millions of the country's inhabitants. The entertainment industry as well as the education system and businesses have been affected by the country's most recent epidemic.
Only to add to the widespread panic; only a few state funded laboratories were allowed to test for the virus. And on top of that only a handful of hospitals were allowed to treat swine flu patients. The scarcity of treatment lead there to be a snowball affect of people continuously becoming infected by the swine flu virus. Instead patients started helping themselves by wearing protective face masks to try and ward off any air born viruses that they may contract.
