The regions which make up the Easter Mediterranean are Alexandria, Beheira, Dakahlia, Damietta, Gharbia, Kafr el-Sheikh, Monufiya, Qalyubia, Sharqia, 6th of October, Cairo,Asyut,  Beni Suef,  Giza, Luxor, Minya, Qena, Sohag, Port Said, Suez, and Asir Province. Confirmed cases of the bird flu have appeared in almost all of these regions, and a big problem for the eastern Mediterranean is that poultry is even testing positive for the H5N1 virus, and if this goes unseen can cause a fast out break of bird flu in citizens.
