The country of Venezuela has had around 60 cases of the swine flu, although there have been zero fatalities, Venezuela is taking extreme precautions in preventing this pandemic from going any further in there country. In the beginning on June 2009, a cruise ship carrying 759 passengers along with 400 crew members were quarantined for a week long due to the fact that swine flu carriers were on board the cruise ship after leaving Venezuela. Passengers were ordered off the ship a week later and to be inspected for swine flu after arriving in hotels or there homes for further prevention of spreading the swine flu. As you can tell, the swine flu pandemic is taking a huge toll on travelers as counties, such as Venezuela are taking extreme precautions in the prevention of this illness.
