St. Vincent Grenadines
The World Health Organization has made the claim that this H1N1 virus is a public health emergency and is asking for "all hands on deck" to help prevent its spread. Countries all over the world have been asked to take the proper medical precautions to increase their surveillance of the flu.
The Caribbean Islands have never had to deal with an outbreak of the flu, but now the World Health Organization is asking for their preparedness as well.
As of right now St. Vincent and the Grenadines has not detected any such case of the swine flu, but they are contributing these finding to their heightened attentiveness they are producing for the flu this season. The Acting Prime Minister of these Islands is asking to activate the emergency disease task force due to the latest developments in the spread of the swine flu.
