Catholic Churches in Spain
Spanish Catholic churches are urging visitors NOT to kiss the saints when they visit the catholic churches as a precaution to the spread and contraction of swine flu. Spain has even asked citizens to change there greeting methods upon saying hello's and goodbye's. In Spain it has always been customary to greet friends and strangers with a kiss on each cheek, since the swine flu pandemic, citizens are being asked to shake hands instead upon greeting to further prevent the spread of swine flu. So far, in the country of Spain, swine flu has taken the lives of 12 people. The numbers have been so high for the cases of swine flu, that the ministry of heath has stopped keeping track and now gives weekly estimates.
