In an effort to prevent the spread of the swine flu, many travel authorities across the country have banned travel to and from their area.  This has not been an easy task, on airport in Cairo reported angry mobs in a tizzy over Muslim pilgrims trying to make their way to Mecca.  

 

Hundred of Muslim followers staged a sit-in, but Egyptian authorities are demanding that no one under the age of 25 or over the age of 65 be traveling to or from the city of Mecca.  

 

The main annual pilgrimage of Hajj attracts many Muslim people from all over the world, but with the new travel authority sanctions placed on many countries, making that pilgrimage this November might be made a little more difficult.

 

Both Arab officials and Arab health ministers have agreed to limit the number of Hajj and Umrah numbers this year because of the higher risks associated with the swine flu threat.
