Poland

The first confirmed case of the swine flu in Poland has surfaced. The said case was found in a 21-year-old Polish man who had just returned from the United States. Upon his return to Poland, the gentleman started to feel the symptoms of the flu.

This is the third case that Poland has seen, the first two cases were found in a 42-year old male and a 58-year old female. Both of these cases are somewhat unusual to many of the other cases.

Many of the already diagnosed cases have all been found in younger adults or children. The two first cases in Poland are therefore somewhat different and continue to intrigue health officials.

The World Health Organization is encouraging pharmaceutical companies to formulate a vaccine for this threatening virus.
