As of mid-August, the country of Pakistan has a total of two swine flu cases. The second case was found in a thirteen-year-old boy. It took health officials at the Faisalabad Allied Hospital a series of tests in order to properly diagnose the boy because it was so difficult to detect.
The thirteen-year-old boy is a resident of Toba Tek Singh, but he had just returned from a stint of stay in Saudi Arabia where he is believed to have contracted the virus.
The boy has been moved from hospital to hospital in an effort to keep him and his family safe from authorities.
Health officials at the Faisalabad Allied Hospital say they in dire need of more quarantine room facilities. The Health Minister also commented saying that there are precautionary measures being taken at Pakistan's airports and other ports of entry.
