Ethiopia has its own Swine Flu Scare
Ethiopia has confirmed its first two cases of the infamous swine flu virus; this is the second country in South Africa to report a case of the virus. Both victims were teenage girls who just recently arrived back to Ethiopia from the United States.
Ethiopia claims that they have over 100,000 doses of the antiviral drugs should the flu continue to spread.
Although the swine flu is normally found in pigs, it has recently mutated to infect humans by human to human contact. Clarifications should be made, even though the virus is commonly called the swine flu, you can not get the swine flu by eating pork or pork products. It is spread much like the common seasonal flu; by someone carelessly sneezing or coughing.
