Croatia Comes Down With the Flu
Swine Flu cases all across the world are becoming more and more common, so far, 71 people in Croatia have come down with the flu virus. Of the 71 cases, 59 of them are thought to have been contracted from abroad.
Like most swine flu cases, the Croatian patients are aged between 20 and 30 years old with a handful of younger children also evidenced of having come down with the illness. This new strain of the flu is said to attack younger immune systems because they are less likely to have antibodies that are resistant to the flu.
The Croatian National Institute of Public Health says that all of the patients have made a full recovery, but Health Officials are skeptical of it being over. With the cooler weather coming there is more of chance for the swine flu to continue its dangerous path.
