Costa Rican President Recovering
President Oscar Arias from Costa Rica has finally recovered from the Swine Flu virus and is expected to return to his normal office hours on Monday.
This steadfast country leader did not let the swine flu keep him from his work; Arias has been working from home and keeping correspondence with other country leaders. Arias is the first country leader to have contracted the swine flu, but is sure not to be the last.
Arias was considered a higher risk case because he has other health ailments including asthma. People who have previous medical conditions have an increased risk of contracting the swine flu. Because there was no flu vaccine for President Arias, he just happened to be hit a little harder with the flu.
