Austria Gets hit with the Swine Flu
The World Health Organization has just officially raised its pandemic alert level to the second highest level, which means WHO believes a global outbreak is imminent. Level five alert level means that there is evidence of human to human communicability in at least two countries.
So far the World Health Organization has more than one confirmed human case in Mexico, the United States, Canada, Britain, Israel, New Zealand, and Spain. So far, Mexico and the United States have reported deaths.
Germany and Austria have been added to the list of confirmed cases.
World Health Organization flu chief Dr. Fukuda told reporters that there is no evidence as of yet that the virus is slowing down. If the pandemic flu level were to raise to a six, that would mean the world would suffer a world-wide pandemic.
