Angola Protects their Borders
The Angolan government just recently established a swine flu commission to prevent the possibility of spreading the virus across the country. The Angolan presidential office states that the government will take measures in accordance with international health regulations. Step one for the Angolan country would be to establish strict regulations in their airports, maritime and road borders to detect isolate and prevent the entry of foreigners from crossing into Angolan territory.
Officials from the commission state say they have established a special team comprised of specialists that will fill in the specific areas. The World Health Organization has just recently raised the alert level from a four to a five. This in hopes that more people will take more initiative in preparing for the upcoming epidemic this season.
