Vaccines for Volunteers

With the start of an epidemic comes an influx of volunteers. Volunteers are needed to work extra hours in clinics and medical centers to administer flu tests and flu shots. Some are needed to treat the sick patients, and some volunteers are even needed to serve as guinea pigs for new flu vaccine tests.

No one wants the latter of the jobs, but someone has to do. The process of getting approved vaccines, is to test them and make sure they are effective ways in preventing the flu.  The United States as well as the United Kingdom have both entered the testing phase, and are calling upon volunteers. Volunteers are running the gamut in age as well as current health condition. You must test the vaccine's effectiveness on a plethora of people to make sure it can be widely used.
