Arlington, Texas Taking Flu Precautions
The city of Arlington Texas is gearing up for another round of the flu season. Yesterday, August 12th the city announced its plan to launch a public "prevention" campaign. The prevention program extends it reach from schools to the construction of the new Dallas Cowboys stadium.
Arlington Mayor and professional MD, Robert Cluck expects the swine flu to return this fall along with the seasonal flu. Arlington School District Superintendent Jerry McCullough and Mayor Cluck want schools, businesses, and entertainment venues to practice the three 'Cs': clean, cover, and contain - wash your hands, cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze, and stay at home if you feel sick.
McCullough and Cluck are confident in their campaign, and are certain that every precautionary measure is being taken to ensure a healthy flu season.
