Montana Gets the Flu Vaccine

"Montanans Should Get the Flu Shot"

The Department of Public Health and Human Services is insisting upon the vaccine for the residents of Montana. This highly experimental vaccine covers three different strains of the influenza virus that are expected to show up among Americans this fall.

While seasonal flu vaccination has always been stressed by the authorities in Montana, health officials are practically insisting upon getting the citizens of Montana vaccinated as quickly as possible.  They fear that once flu season gets under way, it will be put into first gear -- and too soon will there be no vaccines left.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention comment saying that they have yet to come up with a vaccine for the specific swine flu virus, but a seasonal flu shot should still be administered.
