Highly Contagious
"Highly Contagious, Means you have to be Highly Aware"
The Influenza virus is a highly contagious infection of the nose, throat, bronchial tubes, and lungs. The influenza virus undergoes two types of changes. The "Antigenic drift" is a series of changes over time that results in a gradual evolution of the virus. It is also the result of new influenza strains, and each of these give rise to yearly outbreaks and epidemics. There is also such a thing as "Antigenic Shift" which is an abrupt change that also results in new strains of the virus. This only occurs occasionally -- but it can result in a worldwide epidemic.
Both strains are highly contagious regardless of how they mutate, it is very important for you to be well aware of how to protect yourself
