Swine Flu in the Schools

 Schools are about to re-open, but the question is: Are we ready to face the threatening pandemic?  Swine flu continues to plague the world, and school systems are getting more and more afraid of what this means for their students.  

 

School districts are in a tizzy because they are a prime breeding ground for the infamous flu.  Close quarters, close contact, and poor ventilation are prime factors in the spread of the flu.  And as one child comes down with the flu, it is almost guaranteed that one or more will also contract the swine flu.  

 

Experts say that school closures are almost a bandage for the problem, but will by no means fix the overarching problem of the spread of the swine flu.
