As the numbers of infected victims rose steadily among patients in South America, so too did the number of patients in Paraguay.
Their winter season will be rapidly approaching, and as the cold weather sets in, we can only expect a spike in number of victims who are susceptible to the swine flu.
The Mexican epicenter of the Swine Flu is holding their spot at number one. Mexico has 4,879 cases with 95 confirmed deaths thus far, this number is expected to increase as their seasons start to change.
The Health Minister of Paraguay reported five cases of the H1N1 virus -- all five of these victims were said to have been in contact with the same New York woman who was tested positive for the swine flu.
