Schools Prepare for Swine Flu Prevention
Flu season starts around October, but this year the Swine Flu started to be the topic of conversation in early March. Since then many officials feel as though the pandemic has come to a bit of a lull, but it is expected to pick up intensity again as October rolls around.
In preparation for the start of school; school districts are taking extra time cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing, desks, chairs, and lockers.
The United States government has put in place a new set of guidelines for schools, and in turn they have reached out to parents. Parents are now well aware of the steps being taken so that they know their children will be protected this school year. As the government modifies any rules or regulations, the parents will also know about it.
