"Seasonal Flu Vaccine Not for Swine Flu"

On Sunday, August 16 -- there were two cases of the Swine Flu Virus that were found to be drug resistant.  The United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention reported that two leukemia patients in Seattle were unable to continue fighting the swine flu even after they were given the vaccine.

These two leukemia patients will being the nationwide total of patients who are resistant to the vaccine to eleven.  The patients' families are said to be in healthy condition.

These cases only go to strengthen the argument that officials are making; if there is no known vaccine for the swine flu come this fall, the country may suffer a great loss.

And for now, officials are also asking health experts not to administer the seasonal flu vaccine, and wait until we have a working vaccine specifically for the swine flu.
